We are proud to introduce the South African Equestrian world’s newest, premiere equine riding facility, The Equidome, situated in the heart of horse riding country, Kyalami, Johannesburg. The facility is nestled on the edge of Beaulieu Country Estate, surrounded by horse trails and bordering Blue Hills and Sunlands.
This is The Equestrian Indoor destination of South African Equestrian Sport!
The Equidome is managed by a passionate team who has horse sport and its future in South Africa as their main focus. The Equidome is a non-profit company who welcomes riders of all ages from all walks of life. Our club wishes to enhance the interest in all disciplines of riding by way of Shows, Activities, Clinics and Socials Events.

The Equidome
The stunning indoor arena at The Equidome provides the ultimate “all-weather” riding experience. The calm, well lit atmosphere creates a delightful environment to both compete and train in.
Catering & Facilities
Our “Bits and Bites canteen” offers tasty meals & snacks during shows and all major events. The Menu features the traditional favourites such as burgers, sandwiches, salads & more!
The Trough (Club House)
A warm welcome awaits you at The Equidome when you walk into the exquisitely furnished Club House where you have the option to relax in comfort in a snug lounge with flat screen TV’s & Wi-Fi.
Venue Hire
The Equidome can cater for different events – We can tailor packages to suit your club or organisation and suit your needs for auctions, Training camps, Equestrian Instruction Clinics & Seminars.
Mission
- To provide an international standard equestrian venue and host events of exceptional standard
- To promote the interest in equestrian sports and the art of horsemanship by providing a sound environment that supports good fellowship.
- To offer a venue where equestrian like-minded individuals can experience their interest in equestrian activities with family and friends.
- To provide a facility where riders can learn, train and compete together, where sportsmanship and safety are paramount.
- To offer other social activities or events that will be beneficial to the community and create a culture of unity.
Membership
Membership will be offered on the following basis (valid 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016):
